APINDO Launches Education Forum Series with EdTech Giant RuangGuru

In a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of education in Indonesia, the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) in collaboration with Ruangguru, the country's leading educational technology company, launched the APINDO Education Series. The event, held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, was conducted both offline at Ruangguru's offices and online, successfully engaging over 500 viewers in an interactive session.


Jimmy Gani, the Founder and Chairman of Proven Force Indonesia and also serving as the Vice Chairman of APINDO's Education and Skills Division, officiated the APINDO Education Series. In his opening remarks, Jimmy emphasized the initiative as a testament to APINDO’s commitment to advancing the standards of education in Indonesia and commended Ruangguru for facilitating the platform for this forum.


Iman Usman, the Co-Founder and COO of Ruangguru and a member of APINDO's Education and Skills Division, revealed that the APINDO Education Forum is an exemplary collaboration where Ruangguru and APINDO's member companies share best practices. These practices are expected to yield a broad social impact, with tangible benefits perceived by the wider public.


The APINDO Education Series is slated to be a quarterly event, bringing together experts from various fields. The first session of the Education Forum Series addressed "Enhancing the Quality of Vocational Education Through Industrial Collaboration," featuring insights from Zuraida Hamdie, Director of the ADARO Bangun Negeri Foundation (YABN); Agustina Tutik, Head of Education at the Eka Tjipta Foundation; and Gautama Adi Kusuma, Head of Impact at PPGR Ruangguru.
